With over a million visitors each year, The Butchart Gardens is a National Historic Site of Canada with fifty-five acres of stunning floral display gardens.
Brief History: From a depleting limestone quarry to a beautiful Sunken Garden, learn about the Butchart Gardens' magical transformation over the years.
Rose Carousel: Each animal's design was hand picked by Robin Clarke, the Gardens' owner and great grand daughter of Jennie Butchart. The animals were carved from basswood and took many months to complete by some of the few remaining carvers of carousel art.
Fireworks: Enjoy the summer entertainment program as part of your general admission ticket -- no extra charge for lovely evenings on the Concert Lawn or for Firework Saturdays.
